Project description: The project is located in the southwest of the main urban area of Ningdu County, and the surrounding urban space is interrelated and interdependent, with highly complex functional requirements; On the one hand, it can meet the development needs of public service buildings in Ningdu County; On the other hand, it can become a landmark building in the region and have the ability to hold large-scale events; In the future, the functions carried here will be complex, diversified, shared and moderately open.
Therefore, we put forward the planning concept of "urban axis · cultural heritage".
Urban axis -- the urban planning of Ningdu County has a clear north-south urban axis. The spatial combination of four buildings is designed to continue the axis concept of Ningdu County and become a representation and metaphor of traditional urban space.
Cultural heritage - Ningdu is the early residence and distribution center of the ancestors of the Central Plains to the south, is an important birthplace of the Hakka people in Jiangxi, Fujian and Guangdong, and is a pure Hakka county. Due to the small size of each individual unit in the project, we hope to consider it as a whole, while emphasizing the feeling of high spirits, forming a vibrant cultural square inside, and forming a dove-like city square at the entrance, like a Hakka besieged house.
